PTO and volunteering -
PTO and volunteers play a huge role in making our school community special and providing the fun activities and memorable experiences our students love throughout the year.
This week, only 5 parents volunteered for the Book Fair—that’s less than 1% of our parent community! We are so grateful for those who helped, but we need more volunteers throughout the year to keep these wonderful opportunities available for our students. Even an hour of your time can make a big difference!
Veterans Day -
Help Us Create a Wall of Honor! We are proud to honor the brave men and women who have served our country by creating a Wall of Honor in our school! We invite families to send in copies of photos of family members who are veterans so we can recognize and celebrate their service.
Please include the following information with each photo:
- Veteran’s Name
- Rank
- Branch of Military Service
- Relationship to the Student (e.g., grandfather of James Smith)
Thank you for helping us honor the heroes in our school community and teach our students the importance of recognizing those who have served our country. Please submit all photos by November 10 for display on the wall.
After-School Transportation Changes -
We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate after-school transportation changes throughout the day. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee that changes communicated after 3:00 p.m. will be received and processed in time. While we will always make every effort to communicate these changes, we strongly encourage families to notify the school as early as possible to help ensure a smooth and safe dismissal for all students.
The Importance of Being On Time -
Arriving at school on time each day is important for your child’s success. Being on time allows students to get settled, prepared, and ready to learn when instruction begins. Late arrivals can disrupt classroom instruction and impact the learning of the entire class. We appreciate your help in making punctuality a priority so that every student can start their day successfully and make the most of their learning time.
