Life after graduation: Joined the Navy the day we graduated. Spent the war years as an aviation radioman on PBY flying boats in the Aleutians. While in the Aleutians studied to become a lawyer. Somehow I became an electrical engineer..Go figure!! Degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Tech. Worked as Electronic Scientist at the Navy Elec tronics Lab in San Diego.Married June Gilbert in 1954. Three Children,Mark Lee,Dale Patrick and Kelli Frances Hired by General Electric in 1956.Became Manager of Device Engineering for the General Electric Locomotive Plant in Erie Pa. Retired in 1985. Played a lot of Golf,"Sunk" money into boats and grew older! (like the rest of you!!) |

Classes/activities/memories: Enjoyed playing in the band and playing baseball in High School. Band training enabled my brother,Dick and I to make beer money in College. Did NOT enjoy the physical training duck walks we had to endure in Gym after the war started. |
